Somatic-informed Therapy for Adults

Unlock healing with adult psychotherapy blending somatic techniques and mindfulness. This holistic approach links mind and body, helping you recognize and release physical tension tied to emotional pain. In my practice, I blend traditional psychotherapy with mindfulness, yoga, and compassion-based care.

About

Eastern Philosophy with Modern Evidence

I believe that healing comes from both insight and practice. In our work, I may invite you to notice your breath, explore mindful awareness, or connect with your body as a resource. These practices are paired with evidence-based therapy tools to help you navigate stress, anxiety, trauma, or life transitions. Curiosity is at the heart of this process—rather than judging your experience, we explore it together with openness and compassion. Thankfully, I have lived a full life and have a range of lived experience that I draw from as a therapist. My motto is "life is messy" and when we let go of what is supposed to happen and embrace what is happening, we find a new place inside of ourself that can guide us differently. The challenges that I have faced are invaluable in my role as a therapist, as it helps me know how to stay present in difficult situations with an open heart. I graduated from the University of Tulsa with a Bachelor's degree in Finance and from the University of Oklahoma with a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor practicing in Oklahoma. I have been a yoga instructor since 2005 and was a labor & birth doula from 2002 until 2018.
